Your data, your terms

Privacy and security are built in from the start, not added on.

Your data is yours. It is stored within the EU. It is not tracked and not sold. The technology is open and can be audited, improved, and built upon.

Open source is not a technical detail.

For the public sector and civil society, the benefits of open source are many:

Costs can be shared

The software has no per-user licences. That gives you the choice to host it yourself, together with others, or through a provider.

You are not locked to a single provider

If a provider raises prices or goes out of business, you can switch without losing your data or your systems.

The source code can be audited

Anyone can verify that data is not shared with advertisers and that the systems work as promised.

Not working the way you want it to?

Open source gives you the flexibility to build plugins and other adaptations.

Digital sovereignty

Your data is never stored outside the EU. For the public sector, we use data centres in Falkenberg or Stockholm. Other organisations and individuals are hosted in data centres in Finland or Germany. All data centres run on renewable energy. Daily backups are included in every subscription.

Privacy and tracking

No profiling. No ads. No algorithms studying your behaviour. Two-factor authentication and encryption in transit are standard. Technology is not neutral. It matters who owns the infrastructure. Collective Tools is owned and operated in Europe, with no ties to American tech companies.
