You can search for messages, files, and users in Chat.
1. Click the search box in the top right, or press Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (macOS).
2. Type what you are looking for.
3. Narrow the results with search modifiers:
– `from:name` to search for messages from a specific person.
– `in:channelname` to search within a specific channel.
– `before:date` or `after:date` to limit the search to a time range.
Click a search result to jump to it in the chat.
