You can send messages in channels or as direct messages to individual people.
Send in a channel:
- Log in to Chat with your username and password.
- Select a channel in the left panel.
- Type your message in the text box at the bottom.
- Press Enter or click the send icon.
Send a direct message:
- Click the plus sign next to Direct messages in the left panel.
- Search for a person and select them.
- Type and send your message.
