Send messages

You can send messages in channels or as direct messages to individual people.

Send in a channel:

1. Log in to Chat with your username and password.
2. Select a channel in the left panel.
3. Type your message in the text box at the bottom.
4. Press Enter or click the send icon.

Send a direct message:

1. Click the plus sign next to Direct messages in the left panel.
2. Search for a person and select them.
3. Type and send your message.
